Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church Reports, A Conservative Reformed Denomination

american presbytery short report for

Special Meeting of March 3, 2009

Held by conference call at 6:00 p.m. CST

A Special Presbytery of the American Presbytery of the CRPC was called to order at 6:05 p.m. EST on March 3 by the Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church of Milton, Wisconsin by conference call.  All churches were present and represented.  After the officers were elected, the two items of business were then taken up.

The first matter was a request by the Milton church to examine Jason Crenshaw for licensure, at the upcoming presbytery and the establishment of those responsible for the examination.  It was passed unanimously that the licensure examination would be granted and responsibilities for the examination delegated.

Secondly, it was determined that the American Presbytery would send a letter to the Stated Clerk of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America regarding their receiving Dr. Frank Smith without having requested credentials from the CRPC which held them until his trial and deposition.

The meeting was closed at 8 p.m.
